Access and Movement

Rawabi planners and engineers are working on a number of schematics for movement and access in and around Rawabi. The city is designed with to make most efficient use of public space, prioritizing walkability, accessibility, zoning, and safety. The city is crisscrossed by a network of walking trails, supplemented by a well-planned in-city public transportation system. The intra-city bus route links to a central intercity transportation hub, providing direct access to Rawabi to and from every major Palestinian city, town, and village. 

Private vehicle traffic is controlled by a robust traffic management system; underground parking is both ample and convenient. Multilingual signage is being placed all over the city to direct residents and visitors to the safest, fastest route to city landmarks and major attractions.
