Boundaries

Rawabi’s municipal boundaries, approved by the Palestinian Higher Planning Council in October 2008, encompass 6,300,000 square meters (roughly 1,500 acres or 2.5 square miles).

Rawabi’s built-up areas comprise 850,000 square meters - housing 22 neighborhoods, a commercial center and a full complement of public facilities. Initial construction will accommodate a population of more than 25,000. When subsequent construction phases are completed, Rawabi will ultimately be home to 40,000 people.
